The new members of Binance, who have previously worked with multiple governments and the crypto industry as well as with various international organizations, will reportedly work to strengthen Binance's anti-money laundering (AML) standards, fight the financing of terrorism (CFT) and support its overall objective to build stronger relations with regulatory and law enforcement agencies all over the world.

There is no doubt that McDonell, who has a wide experience as former Executive Secretary of FATF and Executive Director to the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS), will contribute to the company's efforts to ensure robust AML and CFT standards.
In particular, McDonell and Nadeau's task will be to provide strategic guidance on regulatory policies and to improve the company's international AML/CFT programs and best practices.
