SBI Holdings Launches a Mining Pool

Japanese financial conglomerate SBI Holdings has just announced it is launching its own mining pool.

According to the press release shared by the company, SBI Crypto has been mining cryptocurrencies for itself in farms outside Japan since 2017 and is now about to start offering its services to users.

Users interested in making use of the service can join the pool by opening an account. SBI Holdings has reported:

"While many of the developed features target institutional customers, the service is also available to individual customers as well."

SBI Crypto will use its hashrate of 1.1 EH/s to provide stability to the pool.

SBI Crypto Pool accounts for 1.6% of the Bitcoin network's total hashrate, according to BTC.com. With a hashrate of 2.4 EH/s, the pool ranks 11th in the mining pool rankings.
