Nvidia's GeForce RTX 3060 was released along with a limitation that resulted in the mining hashrate being reduced by 50% in order to prevent it from being used to mine cryptocurrencies.
However, it looks like miners have found a way to release the power of the card to mine digital assets, according to a Japanese news outlet.
The limitations imposed by the GPU manufacturer have reportedly been bypassed thanks to a driver released by Nvidia itself. In particular, the GeForce 470.05 driver allows overclocking the GPU and achieving a hashrate of up to 48.5 MH/s when mining Ethereum.

It is still unknown whether Nvidia has plans to take any action in order to prevent this "trick."
Some Chinese miners have recently claimed they had been able to bypass the card's protection and mine Ethereum with a hashrate of 50 MH/s. However, these claims have not been accompanied by evidence, while Nvidia said this was not possible.
Nevertheless, the use of the GeForce 470.05 driver does indeed seem to allow bypassing the limitation.
