Bitcoin has started the day posting significant gains. At press time, the largest cryptocurrency by market cap is trading at $54,111.36 (+8.09%), according to CoinMarketCap.

For its part, Ether has increased to $1,826.79 (+7.51%), while XRP has grown by 3.64% and is now trading at $0.479.
It has recently been known that Norwegian billionaire Kjell Inge Rokke, who made his fortune on oil and gas, has announced the launch of a new Bitcoin-focused investment company called Seetee. According to an announcement, the company already purchased 1,170 BTC (around $63M at the current exchange rate) and entered into a collaboration with Blockstream to focus on cryptocurrency mining.
According to CoinMarketCap’s ranking, all currencies on the top 10 are in green.
As for the market cap of all currencies listed in CoinMarketCap, it stays at $1,661,390,878,664.
