NVIDIA Calls on Crypto Miners to Help Fight Coronavirus

Earlier in January, Nvidia sad it could start issuing cryptocurrency mining-focused GPUs if there is enough demand for it. Nvidia's Chief Financial Officer, Colette Kress, said that the company could "use that opportunity to restart the CMP product line to address ongoing mining demand."

Kress also pointed out the company does not believe that crypto mining is a big part of its business today, as it can not see how much of the RTX 30 Series end demand comes from mining.
