Forbes Publishes List of 11 Richest People in the Crypto Industry

Forbes has just published a list of the richest representatives in the field of cryptocurrencies at the end of 2020. The list is led by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, with a total net worth of $6.5B. In second place is FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried with $4.5B, while Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen is in third place with $2.9B.

When making the calculations, the magazine has taken into account not only the value of digital assets, but also stakes in related businesses and traditional assets.

The list also includes:

  • Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy, with $2B.
  • Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, with $1.9B.
  • The founders of the cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, the Winklevoss twins, with $1.6B each.
  • Barry Silbert, founder of Digital Currency Group, with $1.5B.
  • Jed McCaleb, co-founder and former CTO of Ripple, with $1.4B.
  • Venture investor Tim Draper, with $1.1B.
  • Matthew Roszak, co-founder of Bloq, with $1B.
