Pantera Capital Plans to Roll Out New Fund for Institutional Bitcoin Investors

Crypto fund manager Pantera Capital, which currently has more than $1B in assets under management, has just announced it intends to roll out a new fund aimed at institutional Bitcoin investors, The Block has reported.

The news comes after the firm posted spectacular returns of 299% and 500%, respectively, on its Bitcoin and initial coin offering funds. The Pantera Capital CEO Dan Morehead has said the launch of this new fund could take place in "the next few months."

Notably, the arrival of this new product comes just as a number of new Wall Street players, including Anthony Scaramucci's Skybridge, are launching their own Bitcoin funds.

This new Pantera product will be aimed at institutional investors interested in investing their funds in cryptocurrencies.
