ConsenSys claims GoQuorum, an Ethereum client, in the coming months will be made interoperable with frameworks and protocols based on the BSN.
"Developers can soon build on Quorum and achieve easy interoperability on BSN to build advanced IT systems that can satisfy sophisticated business logic," the announcement says.
ConsenSys Founder, Joseph Lubin, says the company believes that the different open source blockchain protocols "need to interoperate." In November 2020, ConsenSys acquired the blockchain developer team named Truffle. With the acquisition, ConsenSys' users can access built-in smart contract compilation, deployment, and binary management.
As iHodl reported, China-backed the Blockchain Service Network will also start working with stablecoins in 2021. While details remain unknown, the stablecoins will reportedly be used to pay for various services in the BSN ecosystem, including cloud resources.
