The $1,300 barrier was exceeded on January 10.

At the same time, Ryan Watkins, researcher at analysis firm Messari, has said through his Twitter account that the Ethereum network carries out daily transactions worth $12B, $3B more than Bitcoin. The volume of transactions in the blockchain of the altcoin is going parabolic, he said.
