According to an official announcement, the decision of Rymanov's resignation has been approved by the Board. The company says Rymanov's replacement, subject to UK regulatory approvals, will be Simon Davis, who joins ePayments as Interim CEO. Prior to ePayments, Davis served as Chief Executive of Guardian Financial Services.

"We are really excited about the future, and look forward to what we expect to be a much more positive 2021," the company says.

In early 2020, the company suspended operations after the FCA checked its anti-money laundering systems. In September, ePayments announced it will no longer offer access to cryptocurrency in order to comply with the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requirements.
