Pornhub, the world's largest adult content site, has added the possibility to use XMR to pay for premium content after payment companies Mastercard and Visa refused to cooperate with the platform, according to a post shared on Reddit.

As a result, the site now supports Bitcoin, Ether, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, NEM, Monero, Tether, Tron, Verge, Zcash and Waves.

The possibility to pay with cryptocurrencies is only available to users in the US, UK and Singapore. Residents of European Union member states can pay for their subscription through the SEPA system.

Visa and Mastercard have recently teamed up with PayPal, which in November 2019 started to block payments to Pornhub models after The New York Times published some material claiming the site has not sufficiently controlled its content and has distributed prohibited material.
