The number of Bitcoin addresses with a non-zero balance has approached the 33 million barrier after exceeding an all-time high, according to data provided by Glassnode.
The number of wallets with a balance of more than 1 BTC is also growing steadily. The indicator has recently reached a new record of around 827,105, recovering from the slight decline experienced in late September.
The realized capitalization indicator has also reached the record level of $150B. This takes into account the activity of the blockchain.
The strong growth in the number of wallets with a balance greater than zero as well as in the realized capitalization could suggest an increase in the number of retail users of cryptos, significant blockchain activity and a massive adoption of Bitcoin.
