ETH Options Trading Volume Hit $1.76B in November

The trading volume of Ethereum options, the second largest crypto by market cap, experienced a remarkable increase last month, The Block reports.

In particular, trading volume skyrocketed to $1.76B, a sharp increase of 153% compared to October, when the indicator stood at $695M. In addition, it must be noted this is the highest monthly level reached, the previous record being $1.03B reached in August.

In terms of platforms, Deribit still leads the market with a trading volume of $1.64B, a figure that contrasts sharply with OKEx's $105M.

User interest in crypto options keeps growing. Thus, last month iHodl reported that open interest in Bitcoin options had hit a new all-time high in October.

In particular, the aggregated open interest of BTC options surged to $2.4B at the end of October, posting an increase of 54.7% and reaching a new record, while on October 29 the open interest of BTC options hit a new daily high of $2.6B.
