Cryptocurrency exchange Binance has just announced a new strategic partnership with Chiliz, a fintech blockchain company that provides sports and entertainment entities, according to a press release that was shared with iHodl.

Binance, which has previously invested in the fintech firm, has extended the partnership with additional investments ensuring this way a partnership vision for the long-term.

The first fruit of this association will be the Fan Tokens allocation through Binance Launchpool.

It must be noted that Chiliz operates Socios.com, a fan influence and rewards platform that has partnerships with some of the biggest sporting properties in the world including soccer clubs FC Barcelona, Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Galatasaray, AS Roma and Atletico de Madrid, among others.

Socios.com, whose native token is $CHZ, is one of the most active non-financial, consumer-facing mainstream blockchain products in the world. In just over a year it has been downloaded by over 370,000 people, over 14 million Fan Tokens have been sold and more than 700,000 votes have been registered on the blockchain.

With the addition to Binance Launchpool, users are able to receive new token rewards in return for staking different tokens. The first Socios.com partners to benefit from Binance LaunchPool will be Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Italian champions Juventus (JUV) Fan Tokens. Users will be able to stake BNB, BUSD or CHZ tokens into separate pools, starting from December 15 at 0:00 AM (UTC) to January 14 at 0:00 AM (UTC).

After that, Binance will list Paris Saint-Germain Fan Tokens (PSG) and Juventus Fan Tokens (JUV) in the innovation zone on December 21 at 6:00 AM (UTC) and open trading for PSG/BTC, PSG/USDT, PSG/BUSD, JUV/BTC, JUV/USDT and JUV/BUSD trading pairs.
