Bitcoin miners made around $521M in November, which represents a significant increase in comparison with the previous month, The Block reports.

According to the information provided by the research division of the publication, Bitcoin miners' revenue amounted to $521M, which represents a 47.9% increase compared to the $352.57M miners made in October.

The miners' revenue is made up of the reward (6.25 BTC) they are given for adding new blocks to the crypto's blockchain as well as the combined fees they are paid alongside the transactions included in the block.

In particular, miners earned $55M from transaction fees.

Remember that the reward miners receive for mining blocks fell from 12.5 BTC to 6.25 BTC on May 11 as a result of the crypto's latest halving.
