The last time the funds stolen from Bitfinex were moved was in early October, when transactions worth $26M were made. The attack to the crypto trading platform took place in August 2016, and as a result of it the attackers stole 120,000 Bitcoins.

Bitfinex offered a $400M reward this summer in an attempt to recover the Bitcoins stolen from the platform. The exchange also offered hackers the possibility of returning the cryptos voluntarily in exchange for a reward of 25% of the total amount.
