Ethereum miners' revenue amounted to $214M last month, The Block has reported.
While this is not a bad figure, it must be noted it is well below the $321M they generated during the previous month (September).
This decrease in the miners' revenue is related to the drop in income from transaction fees, which have decreased by 66.8% compared to September, from $171M to $57M.
As a result, the percentage of miners' income from transaction fees has decreased from 53.4% in September to 26.5% in October.
The situation of Bitcoin miners seems to be totally opposite, since yesterday it was reported the profitability of Bitcoin mining had jumped by 8% in October probably driven by the rise in the price of Bitcoin.
