According to the latest study conducted by The Block Research, $897.7M of venture capital have been invested in blockchain and crypto companies during the third quarter of the year.
Per the research, most of the funds have been invested in early-stage and seed deals, as these (59 early-stage deals and 60 seed deals) have received almost half of the funds.
It should be noted the average amount received by early-stage projects is $7M. In particular, these projects have received nearly $272M, representing 30% of all investment made during the third quarter of 2020. As for the seed deals, these amounted to an average of $2.1M and represented almost 12% of the investments made during Q3.
Since the beginning of the third quarter, venture capital funds have increased their investments in decentralized crypto trading platforms.
