Security Tokens Trading Volumes Dropped by 60% in September

According to data provided by Security Token Group, the trading volumes of security tokens plummeted by 60% during the month of September after 4 months of outstanding growth.

Between May and August, monthly trading volumes for security tokens increased by between 113% and 280%, from $990,000 to $22M.

This shows that in spite of the fall in trading volumes, September was the second strongest month with more than $9.15M in combined trading.

More than half of the total trading activity comes from TZERO's TZROP token, with $5.3M in volume, though down from $11.8M in August.

It should be noted TZROP is the second most popular security token with a market cap of $128M.

The combined market capitalization of security tokens increased by almost 4% to $528.6M in September.
