According to an official announcement, all Coinbase Commerce users can connect their exchange accounts to sell crypto for a more stable store of value:

"Many customers have been requesting a faster way to convert their crypto payments, and until today, Commerce merchants needed to transfer their crypto to an exchange prior to selling their crypto for cash or stablecoins."

From now on, merchants can convert their crypto payments into fiat currencies like USD, EUR, GBP, or stablecoin USD Coin (USDC).

Previously, iHodl reported that over 60 employees left the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange due to the company's new controversial policy. According to a blog post written by the exchange's head Brian Armstrong, approximately 5% of employees (60) have decided to take the exit package.

Armstrong confirmed that Coinbase recognizes there is a "blurry line" between political statements or not, and asked employees to use good judgment.
