Japan’s financial giant, SBI Holdings, has announced the security token offering of its subsidiary SBI e-Sports tokens later this month.

According to an official press release, the financial conglomerate will be using the ibet blockchain platform to distribute 1,000 e-Sports tokens on October 30.
The company confirmed it might also launch digital corporate bonds via SBI Securities. SBI Holdings considers blockchain as "core technology" of the new fintech era.
Earlier this year, SBI invested $30 million in the British crypto liquidity provider B2C2. With the investment, B2C2 became SBI's main provider of crypto liquidity as the firm expands its own crypto offering to millions of its clients.
