Keith McCullough, CEO of the analysis firm Hedgeye Risk Management, has just announced he has decided to sell all his Bitcoins:
"I've sold all of my Bitcoin."
Although he has not made any other comments, he has retweeted a post by the user Luca Balestrieri:
"He understands correlations and he is not a permabull. He sold all his Bitcoins today, he didn’t say he won’t buy Bitcoin anymore. If the USD strengthens so all the (many) correlated things to it will go down, Bitcoin included. He booked a profit today to buy lower next future."
McCullough has said his firm advises clients with more than $1T in assets. He claims to have "officially joined the Bitcoin discussion" back in December 2017, when the price of the crypto hit $20,000.
In March, after the market collapsed and the price of Bitcoin dropped below $4,000, McCullough wrote:
"I was bullish on Bitcoin until FEB, then sold it because my risk mgt process told me."
