The US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) wants to automate the control of internal financial transactions, including Bitcoin transactions, with the help of a specialized solution.

The ICE's technical department has just submitted a request for information. Companies are expected to submit solutions that will help the agency digitize existing transactions as well as add a centralized accounting system. The ICE's goal is to automate the workflow associated with financial transactions.

The ICE has referred to several examples of Bitcoin use, including purchase at crypto exchanges and transfer of coins to personal hardware wallets, as well as other expenses with the crypto. Purchase fees, rewards to miners for validating transactions as well as other related costs have also been taken into consideration.

The agency expects the software to track transfers, purchases and expenses in Bitcoin.

Companies interested in offering their own software must submit their proposals before November 9.
