Coinbase Pro, a crypto exchange for professional investors belonging to Coinbase, has just announced it plans to add the crypto yearn.finance (YFI) next week, according to the press release shared by the platform:
"On Monday, September 14, we will begin accepting inbound transfers of YFI to Coinbase Pro. Trading will begin on or after 9AM Pacific Time (PT) Tuesday September 15, if liquidity conditions are met. Once sufficient supply of YFI is established on the platform, trading on our YFI-USD will be started."
The listing on the platform comes just 2 months after the launch of the project, an aggregation portal for different protocols through the decentralized financial ecosystem. YFI is the governance token associated with yearn.finance, which allows stakeholders to make decisions on the future direction of the project.
The crypto has hit headlines recently, as its price has surpassed the $20,000 high hit by Bitcoin back in 2017. Thus, at press time, the crypto has grown by 10% over the last 24 hours and is currently trading at around $32,900.
