Crypto exchange Bittrex Global has announced it has decided to stop offering its services to customers from Belarus, Ukraine and some other countries. According to the platform:
"For regulatory reasons, we unfortunately have to inform you that we are no longer able to provide services to customers who are residents of certain jurisdictions."
The changes will take effect within 14 days. Other countries affected by the exchange's measure are Burundi, Mali, Myanmar, Nicaragua and Panama. The platform has informed users from these jurisdictions that since the receipt of the message they can no longer make deposits or withdrawals of fiat money. The remaining assets can be traded and withdrawn from the platform within 2 weeks. The exchange has said:
"After that time, we will need to disable any remaining accounts."
According to CoinGecko, the trading volume in Bittrex over the past 24 hours has reached $51M.
