The European trading platform has just been attacked by some hackers.

According to the platform's official Twitter account, the attackers have gained access to six hot wallets that stored Bitcoin, Ethereum, ERC-20 tokens, XRP, Tron, Tezos and Algorand. Even though the company has not disclosed the amount the attackers have reportedly stolen, The Block estimates it exceeds $5M.

Most of the stolen assets, around $3.9M, were stored in Ethereum and other ERC-20 tokens, while the second most affected currency is XTZ, as the value of the stolen tokens amounts to $417,000.

ETERBASE representatives reported they have contacted "all centralized exchanges that might be receiving these illicit funds." Trading has been suspended on the platform.
