Circle, a peer-to-peer fintech company, has rolled out a new feature that allows sellers, freelancers, or any service providers to accept payments in local currencies via its Payments API.

If you are looking for a crypto trading platform to trade your assets, visit Gozo.pro, a safe and reliable exchange.

According to an official blog announcement, users can now send payouts in local currency and automate your payout workflows "by handling the complexity of sending either digital dollars or local currency with one integration."

From now on, users can accept payments through Circle's APIs or fund their Circle Business Account directly via bank account.

"Circle APIs give businesses very powerful and new methods for payouts that were never possible before, like sending USDC to people all around the world instantly, with low cost, high security and irreversibility," said Joao Reginatto, VP Product & USDC Product Lead at Circle.

Earlier, iHodl reported that CENTRE Consortium, a joint venture aimed at establishing a standard for fiat on the internet, announced an upgrade to the USD coin (USDC) protocol and smart contract.

The upgrade includes the so-called "gasless sends" feature, which allows wallet developers to delegate the payment of the gas fees on the Ethereum blockchain network to another address.

The feature gives developers an opportunity to either provide that service themselves, or a third party service to pay the fees.
