Five top executives from the popular crypto monitoring resource CoinMarketCap have decided to leave the company, The Block has reported.
The executives reportedly leaving the company are Carylyne Chan, interim CEO, Spencer Yang, vice president of operations, growth and revenue, Jeremy Seow, vice president of products, Matthew Lippl, global head of design and growth and Jared Chin, project lead and head of events.
It looks like the vacancies will be filled by Binance's own staff, which acquired the resource 4 months ago.
It is still unknown whether the decision has anything to do with the acquisition of the company by Binance. At the moment, it is only known these executives have reportedly decided to "resign" from their positions.
Binance said right after it acquired the resource that CoinMarketCap would keep operating independently, however, some members of the community are not so sure this is happening.
