Bitcoin and Tron Lose Positions in Chinese Crypto Ranking

The China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) has just published the 19th edition of its ranking of crypto projects, Bitcoin.com has reported.

In this new edition of the ranking, 37 cryptos have been analyzed according to their basic technology, applicability and creativity. EOS still leads the ranking, while Tron has fallen from the second to the fourth place and has been replaced by Ethereum in the second place. For its part, IOST is in third place, while Bitcoin has fallen from the 12th to the 14th place.

The experts behind the classification have explained the assessment model has remained unchanged from the previous edition: the basic technology still represents 65% in the ranking, while applicability and originality represent 20% and 15%, respectively:

"The result of this assessment will allow the CCID group to provide better technical consulting services for government agencies, business enterprises, research institutes and technology developers."
