The US-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase has announced that Marcus Hughes, Coinbase General Counsel for international operations, will now serve as General Manager for Europe.

Access more than 50 of the world's financial markets directly from your EXANTE account – including NASDAQ, London Stock Exchange and Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Hughes will reportedly lead the scale of Coinbase's operations across Europe, along with bringing to market new products and features.

He also has been responsible for establishing and maintaining the exchange's regulatory relationships across multiple regions, working with regulators to educate them on crypto, Coinbase said in an official announcement.

Before Hughes joined Coinbase, he worked at Morgan Stanley as an Executive Director in its legal and compliance division.
