FxPro's team of analysts say:
"While bitcoin is the leader in terms of capitalization, it is not in terms of price. The yearn.finance (YFI) coin has outstripped bitcoin in value and is now trading for $14,000, reaching $16,000 over the past day at some point."
The total cryptocurrency market capitalization is $374 billion, according to CoinMarketCap.
Meanwhile, the largest stablecoin by market cap, tether (USDT), is also the most popular stablecoin in East Asia, making up 93% of all stablecoin value transferred by addresses in the region.
As a result of such spike in popularity, USDT even surpassed bitcoin to be the most-received digital asset in June 2020.
