Cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, founded by the Winklevoss twins back in 2014, has extended trading support for the Hong Kong dollar (HKD), Australian dollar (AUD), and Canadian dollar (CAD).
Access more than 50 of the world's financial markets directly from your EXANTE account – including NASDAQ, London Stock Exchange and Tokyo Stock Exchange.
According to an official announcement, the exchange's users in Hong Kong, Australia and Canada can now manage their own trading strategies with local currencies.
"Our expansion into new currency offerings is another step forward in our mission to empower individuals around the world through crypto," Gemini wrote in the announcement.
However, initially HKD, AUD, and CAD will not be offered via the Active Trader platform, the exchange pointed out.
Previously, Gemini announced it had added support for custodian services for .crypto blockchain domains by Unstoppable Domains.
The exchange's users can store .crypto addresses on Gemini Custody. Registrars of traditional DNS domains will be top customers of this service, Gemini's representative said.
