Privacy-focused blockchain browser Brave has announced it has entered into a partnership with the Gemini cryptocurrency exchange.

With the partnership, Brave integrates the new Gemini Trading Widget that allows users to buy, sell & exchange crypto.

The Gemini Trading Widget is available in Brave’s Nightly version, and will go live in Brave’s general release in the coming weeks, an official announcement says.

Brave-verified content creators can also hodl their cryptocurrencies in a Gemini Creator Wallet.

In June, Brave was accused of unauthorized actions. According to a Twitter user Cryptonator1337, when a user typed in a domain name, such as www.binance.us, the browser was changing the actual address with a referral code one.

Brave Crypto Browser Passes 10 Million Monthly Active Users

Brave CEO and Co-Founder Brendan Eich admitted the company made a mistake but highlighted that since the company behind the browser is a Binance affiliate, it refers users via the opt-in trading widget on the new tab page.

Brave entered into a partnership with Binance in March this year.

Thus, the Chromium-based browser supports functionality for buying and trading cryptocurrency via Binance and Gemini right in the application.
