FxPro's team of analysts say:
"Bitcoin has grown by around 1% over the last day and is currently trading at about $9,400, coinciding with the growth rates of the main stock market indices. On the other hand, altcoins are especially attracting the attention of market participants, as they expected more volatility in this direction. Even though most altcoins have already started to adjust their growth, the demand increase has led to a $4B jump in the total capitalization of the crypto market. In addition, the Bitcoin dominance index has fallen to just under 63%.
According to WhaleAlert, nearly 20,000 BTCs (around $185M) have been transferred between two unknown whales. These types of transactions usually cause high volatility. However, in this case, the growth of the crypto market seems to be linked to that of the traditional stock market."
According to CoinMarketCap’s ranking, 9 currencies on the top 10 are in green.
As for the market cap of all currencies listed in CoinMarketCap, it stays at $276,354,983,937.
