Travel booking website Expedia has teamed up with Travala.com to allow users book their accommodations with cryptos.

According to an announcement shared by crypto travel platform Travala.com, the company has teamed up with Expedia to allow its users to book more than 700,000 accommodations with Bitcoin.

Alfonso Paredes, senior vice president of Expedia Group, said the company aims to expand Travala.com's business faster than it has so far. In addition, the company wants to allow users to make their reservations with their favorite payment method, including BTC.

It must be noted the partnership has been made specifically between Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS), a subsidiary of Expedia, and Travala.com. As part of the agreement, EPS has granted Travala.com access to its rapid application programming interface, allowing the company to offer Expedia accommodations to its users.

This is not the first agreement of this type reached by Travala. In November last year it was known the platform had partnered with Booking.com to add its more than 90,000 accommodations to its platform, which made the company's revenue increase by 33%.
