COMP, Compound's governance token, has just been added to the Coinbase Earn learning platform, the exchange reported through an official statement.

From now on, the exchange users can earn COMP tokens by learning about the protocol "watching lessons and completing quizzes."

COMP, which was first announced back in February, is a crypto based on the ERC-20 standard that gives its holders voting rights in debates and decisions about the Compound protocol. The cryptocurrency was initially launched at Uniswap on June 15, while yesterday it was known it had been listed on Coinbase.

Earlier this week iHodl reported the DeFi project Compound had overtaken Maker, becoming this way the largest DeFi project at the moment.

Coinbase is one of the investors in Compound and owns COMP tokens.
