Bitcoin has started the day posting minor gains. At press time, the largest cryptocurrency by market cap is trading at $9,671.02 (+0.65%), according to CoinMarketCap.

For its part, Ethereum has jumped to $248.43 (+2.63%), while XRP has grown by 1.07% and is now trading at $0.19.
FxPro's team of analysts say:
"Bitcoin is hovering around $9,700 with less than 1% growth over the past 24 hours. However, this has coincided with a decrease of almost 22% in trading volumes.
Some people have recently suggested there is a correlation between Bitcoin and the stock market. Now, all the attention could also be focused on tracking the price of the reference crypto and gold, which have started to grow in a context of global uncertainty. The link between gold and Bitcoin is fairly well accepted in the crypto community if we consider Bitcoin is considered a digital version of this precious metal.
The greed and fear index has climbed 9 points in one day and is now in the 'neutral' area. The RSI has also risen, but it remains in neutral territory for now. Both indices reflect further growth is possible."
According to CoinMarketCap’s ranking, all currencies on the top 10 are in green.
As for the market cap of all currencies listed in CoinMarketCap, it stays at $276,279,226,541.
