Ghost, a distributed exchange that promises its users total anonymity, has just been rolled out.

Controversial crypto advocate John McAfee announced last weekend through Twitter the platform is now live.

Th distributed platform Ghost is related to an homonymous privacy project, a privacy-focused proof-of-stake crypto that allows users to carry out anonymous transactions.

According to McAfee, Ghost, whose mainnet should go live today, will replace the distributed exchange McAfeeDEX.

The launch of the platform has been surrounded by great controversy, as McAfee itself has admitted that some parts of the project's white paper have been copied from the white paper of the crypto exchange PIVX.

John McAfee has been living in exile since 2019 because he is being investigated by the US authorities for alleged tax evasion.
