Reddit Co-Founder Alexis Ohanian has announced resignation from the tech firm’s board.
According to an official blog announcement, Ohanian decided to leave the company to use his future gains on Reddit stock to serve the black community, chiefly to curb racial hate.
As a start, the Reddit Co-Founder pledged $1 million to Colin Kaepernick’s Know Your Rights Camp. He also has urged the Reddit team to fill his position with a black candidate.
"I believe resignation can actually be an act of leadership from people in power right now. To everyone fighting to fix our broken nation: do not stop," wrote Ohanian.
Ohanian known as the main driver at Reddit for crypto adoption.
In May, Ohanian said that the crypto industry is watching a crypto spring right now in terms of blockchain-related products growth.
The earlier investor in Coinbase sees developing of the decentralized network infrastructure as engineers and designers create "real solutions" on top of the blockchain technology.
