Popular privacy-focused blockchain browser Brave added 1.5 million monthly active users in April and May.

Brave, which was created back in 2015, is a blockchain-based browser that allows users to browse the web while protecting their privacy by blocking ads and trackers.

Thanks to the wide range of functionalities the browser offers, its number of users is constantly growing. Thus, it exceeded 10 million monthly active users in November, while in March it had 13.5 million monthly active users and 4.3 million daily active users.

According to the company's data, the growth of its user base has not lost momentum during the month of May, as the number of monthly active users has jumped to 15 million, while the number of daily active users has reached 5 million.

The company has also reported it is implementing new improvements to its rewards program, in which it offers free Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) to users for viewing partner brand ads.

Thus, between October 2019 and May, the number of advertising campaigns supported by Brave Ads grew from 400 to 1,530, including brands such as Verizon, Chipotle and PayPal.
