Chinese crypto mining giant Bitmain has just rolled out its new ASIC device Antminer T19 for mining cryptocurrencies based on the SHA256 algorithm, including Bitcoin.

The Antminer T19 is the third member of the company's latest line of miners. It reaches a hashrate of 84 TH/s ± 3% with a power consumption of 3,150 watts. Bitmain writes:

"Comparing with the previous Antminer T17, the T19 greatly improves performance, allowing miners to achieve better efficiency and earnings. It also utilizes a new power supply and upgraded firmware, which offers faster start-up."

According to CryptoCompare's calculator, a device with the features specified by the company can generate $2.87 per day ($86.25 per month). The calculations have taken into account an electricity price of $0.05 and a Bitcoin price of $9,539.

The price of the Antminer T19 is $1,749. Therefore, miners will take about 20 months to pay for their investment under the current conditions.

The sale of the new Antminer T19 devices has started at the official Bitmain site today at 05:00 CET. The first shipments are expected to take place between June 21 and 30.
