Samsung Galaxy Store to Feature TRON dApps

TRON has got a dedicated section in the Samsung Galaxy Store, featuring apps built with the help of blockchain.

According to an official press release that was shared with iHodl, users in the US and Europe who are using Samsung smartphones now have the ability to experience the next generation of blockchain-based applications directly from their mobile devices.

The new section features apps like Blockchain Cuties, Super Player, Meerkat Mining, Timeloop, and others.

TRON Founder Justin Sun says the company really enjoyed working with Samsung on the blockchain level integration.

"Now with Samsung Galaxy Store, we are taking our collaboration to the next level by integrating both ecosystems together. This is an incredible opportunity for developers to migrate and build on the TRON platform and put their applications in front of Samsung users," Sun added.

Earlier the TRON Founder announced on that the TRON Foundation launched Djed, its own stablecoin ecosystem. According to the stablecoin's whitepaper, this new asset, known as USDJ, is a USD-pegged coin backed by collateral assets.

Back in October 2019, Samsung added support for TRON to Blockchain Keystore, its dApp store.
