For its part, Ethereum has grown to $189.91 (+4.69%), while XRP has jumped by 4.74% and is now trading at $0.196.
FxPro's team of analysts say:
"Last night Bitcoin posted a 6% increase and reached $7,550. The trading volume on the Bitcoin network over the last day has grown by 25%, strengthening the crypto's recent growth. At the same time, the greed and fear index has risen by just one point, which could be considered as a reason to be more cautious about yesterday's price jump. The RSI on the BTC/USD daily chart has also climbed in line with the price. Altcoins on the top 10 have followed the example of the reference crypto posting a growth of 3%-11%.
The return of Bitcoin above the $7,000 mark has coincided with a rise in the price of oil and with the growth of the stock market. However, the current price dynamic of the reference crypto is not the same as that of the stock market. Internal factors will likely start to influence BTC price, the main one being the next Bitcoin halving, which will take place in 18 days."
All currencies on the top 10 are in green.
As for the market cap of all currencies listed in CoinMarketCap, it stays at $216,862,647,013.
