FxPro's team of analysts say:
"Bitcoin has grown by 3% over the past 24 hours and is currently trading at around $7,100. The greed and fear index is not registering the same growth, remaining in the 'extreme fear' area. The dominance index is stable at around 63.5%, although altcoins are also rising. The trading volume on the Bitcoin network has climbed by 10% over the last day.
Bitcoin is trying to grow with the rest of markets, which in turn are being driven by the oil recovery. It looks like oil is now acting as a barometer of the health of the economy and its overall prospects. Its growth from economically unreasonable lows is reducing anxiety in the financial markets, which increases the interest of investors."
According to CoinMarketCap’s ranking, all currencies on the top 10 are in green.
As for the market cap of all currencies listed in CoinMarketCap, it stays at $204,505,411,146.
