bitFlyer, one of the largest crypto exchanges in Japan and in the world, has just announced it is listing Basic Attention Token (Brave).

According to a press release shared on April 9, the platform has decided to add the Basic Attention Token (BAT), Brave browser's native token.

It must be noted this is the first crypto to be added to the exchange in 4 months, as the last one to be listed was Ripple's XRP back in December last year.

BAT trading was recently approved by the Japanese FSA. In addition, crypto trading platform GMO Coin started offering the crypto to its users in Japan last month.

Brave stands as an alternative to the popular web browser Chrome offering its users the possibility to keep their anonymity while surfing the web. Its number of users has increased significantly now that a large part of the planet's population is confined as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

BAT or Basic Attention Token, which was launched through an ICO in 2017 in which around 35 million tokens were sold, is the native token of the Brave platform.

iHodl reported last week that Gemini, the Winklevoss twins' crypto exchange, had added support for BAT.
