FxPro's team of analysts say:
"Bitcoin has shown a remarkable price dynamic over the past 24 hours. Thus, the reference crypto has risen to $7,100 and then fallen to $6,800. This price increase has coincided with an increase in trading volumes which has acted as an additional boost.
Despite the growth of the crypto market, the greed and fear index remains unchanged at the 'extreme fear' level. This index usually reflects what is happening in the crypto market, and this may indicate that yesterday's price jump was perceived by investors as speculative, which has led to a slight decline.
However, Bitcoin has not been able to stay above the $7,000 barrier. It is quite ironic that the growth of the crypto market has coincided with a strong rebound in the oil market."
According to CoinMarketCap’s ranking, 9 currencies on the top 10 are in green.
As for the market cap of all currencies listed in CoinMarketCap, it stays at $191,009,043,034.
