The head of cryptocurrency exchange Binance Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has confirmed the exchange is working on its own cryptocurrency mining pool.

BTC Mining Difficulty Suffers 2nd Largest Fall

CZ posted a tweet in which confirmed that the Binance mining pool is coming soon. The date of the launch and other details, including fees are yet to be known.

The Binance CEO also added the exchange is going to add new features, including staking, earn, savings and loans.

In the meantime, the exchange is planning to acquire CoinMarketCap, a platform created to track the capitalization of different cryptocurrencies and exchanges.

Blockstream Launches Two Mining Facilities and a Pool

The platform is reportedly in the final stages of negotiation and would be willing to pay around $400M.

Earlier iHodl reported Binance launched of Binance KR, a new cryptocurrency exchange in South Korea, as well as of a won-pegged stablecoin.
