Cryptocurrency wallet XUMM backed by Ripple's XRPL Labs is now live in BETA mode, according to an official website's statement.

The mobile wallet is available for both iOS and Android devices. The XUMM wallet can send, receive and interact with the XRP ledger. The wallet's users can also interact with 3rd party applications via sign requests.

"XUMM is currently in BETA. We worked really hard to deliver high quality software, but there may still be bugs. Please don't use the XUMM Beta version with your high value accounts, and don't transfer high amounts of XRP/IOU's," the website highlights.

XUMM is reportedly non-custodial storage, which means that only a user keeps his keys to access funds.

"Your keys are stored safely, encrypted, in the XUMM application on your device only," the website points out.

Earlier iHodl reported that Ripple Labs, Inc. announced it committed to being part of the global response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
