The World Health Organization has joined an association, which includes such technical giants as IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, and others, to jointly develop MiPasa, a global-scale control, and communication blockchain system.
MiPasa can help monitor and foresee local and global epidemiological trends and detect likely asymptomatic carriers by feeding big data on infection routes, the official website states.
The system reportedly enables a swift and precise early detection of COVID-19 carriers and infection hotspots through seamless and fully private information sharing between individuals, state authorities and health institutions such as hospitals and HMOs, utilizing advanced technological tools and a dedicated user app.
