British fintech startup Revolut, which already has more than 10 million customers worldwide, has just launched in the US market.

Revolut's US partner is Metropolitan Commercial Bank (MCB), which has provided its financial infrastructure. From now on, all US citizens can register on the app and apply for a physical or virtual debit card.

Revolut allows US users to use 28 currencies, including the Canadian dollar, the pound sterling and the euro. The firm promises calculations will be made at the current exchange rate. All deposits up to $250,000 are insured.

One of the options the company offers its US clients is the possibility of receiving their salary up to two days in advance through a direct deposit at no cost.

Revolut became one of the world's most valuable fintech startups in February. The company decided then to expand its business in Asia and North America.
